All the Kids' Shows Coming to Netflix in August

There’s no two ways about it: unless you’re summering in Svalbard, this time of year is hot. And sometimes, there’s no better option than to chill (literally!) on the couch with a good movie or TV show when it’s sweltering outside. If you’ve got younger kids, turning on something they’ll enjoy watching can buy you some valuable time to actually get something done. And if your kids are a little bit older, an engaging flick or TV series can help stave off the dreaded, “I’m boooooored” — at least for a while.

Luckily for all of us, Netflix is hooking us up with a fresh batch of new-to-Netflix content coming in August, and there are plenty of TV series and movies for kids that your little ones are sure to love. And since kids tend to enjoy watching the same episodes or shows over and over and over again, Netflix is the perfect place to watch — their favorites will be right at your fingertips for viewing any time (so many times you can repeat the script yourself, let’s be real).
