'A Dream Come True': See All the Cute Photos of Carrie Underwood's Growing Baby Bump!

“You might be wondering or asking, ‘Carrie, why is your tour starting in May?’ Well … yay!” Underwood said in an Aug. 8 Instagram video, revealing balloons spelling out “BABY” above her head. “Mike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond.”

On a Sept. 13 visit to Jimmy Fallon, Underwood spoke about son Isaiah’s understanding of the family’s impending arrival.

“He’ll be really sweet and talk to my belly and kiss my belly. He’s the sweetest little boy. But no kid can really know that their life is going to change… He’ll have to share Mommy,” she said, adding that he wants to give the baby the name … Isaiah.

Is it a hint? For a Sept. 19 taping of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Underwood wore a pink cape, and shared that while she and husband Mike Fisher know the baby’s sex, they were keeping it a secret. That didn’t deter DeGeneres, who guessed girl … then boy … then girl again.

Underwood, here at a Sept. 19 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, is “as excited about the baby as [her new album, Cry Pretty],” a source told PEOPLE. “The machine that is Carrie is fully on. She’s in full album mode.”

That news came following Underwood’s heartbreaking interview with CBS, in which she shared she suffered three miscarriages in two years.

Receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Sept. 20 — with Mike and Isaiah by her side — Underwood opted for a red trench belted just about her bump.

A shimmering silver top and black leggings were the perfect pick for Underwood’s Sept. 22 performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas.

A photo from her pre-American Music Awards rehearsal on Oct. 8 got quite the jab from her (Canadian) husband: “Love the Canadian tuxedo babe!!”

But no one had a bad word to say about her gorgeous red carpet look at the show on Oct. 9, a floor-length black gown with shoulder cutouts and gold detail.

For her performance of “Spinning Bottles” that night, she slipped into a flowing maroon dress — and earned a standing ovation for her emotional singing.

Underwood slipped into a sexy sequin Tadashi Shoji number on Oct. 17 for the CMT Artists of the Year awards in Nashville.

Inside the show, Underwood opted for a bump-hugging mini that showcased her serious stems.

Underwood, in a dress from S-TEAM LA, waved hello as she left Good Morning America on Nov. 10 when she spoke about co-hosting the CMA Awards.

At the Nov. 14 CMA Awards, host Underwood started off the night (she made 11 outfit changes!) in a long sleeve, floor length nude Uel Camilo gown with floral embroidery, an Anabela Chan pink sapphire ring and JN Jewels diamond drop earrings.

Inside, she kicked off country’s biggest night (and confirmed baby-to-be is a boy!) with co-host Brad Paisley wearing black leather pants and a gold-embellished hot-pink Stello trench over a fitted black blouse.

One of the highlights of the night was her performance piece, a cerulean Stello gown featuring a dramatic cape (with a subtle tie dye design on the underside!) and front cut-out. She tied the whole look together with smoky and shimmery blue eye shadow and Jared Lehr blue-green stone earrings.

Underwood looked like a golden goddess in a shimmering champagne gown covered in crystals, plus dramatic jeweled drop earrings.

She later switched into a bold cobalt blue gown with a sparkly lace bodice and flowing velvet skirt when she accepted her award for female vocalist of the year.

For her November induction into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, Underwood opted for a sparkling, floor-length black number with sheer sleeves.
