Of course, you might not get much destress time with kids in tow, so the key is to find a beach that works for the whole family.
If you have a baby or toddler, make sure the beach you choose has facilities you’ll need (restroom, changing station, etc.). If your kids get bored easily, pick a beach with plenty of attractions nearby (i.e., things to tire them out, so you can finally grab an hour of undisturbed sunbathing). Basically, the best beach is one that gives you what you need — be it water sports, beautiful shells, sandcastle competitions, fresh seafood or good old peace and quiet.
