Violent Home and Away showdown for Jett and Robbo

Since returning to the Bay and living with John (Shane Withington) and Marilyn (Emily Symons), Jett (Will McDonald) has been struggling with survivors guilt – feeling that he shouldn’t be the one left alive while multiple soldiers died during the explosion in Afghanistan. He declines suggestions that he should go to counselling, and instead wants to get set up to live an independent life.

After learning that the army can’t provide him with housing in the city, his drive goes away again and John is left to try and come up with a solution. Wanting Jett to remain safe but also respecting his wishes to be independent, he offers him a place of his own nearby. A thrilled Jett gets back to work at the gym.

While he’s there, he meets Robbo (Jake Ryan), who has learned about his time in Afghanistan. He tries to reach out to Jett, talking about how he was there too as part of his time with the Feds. However, Jett thinks his experience sounds trivial compared to what he’s been through, and he’s angry that Robbo is trying to compare the two.

He snaps at Robbo, asking if he’s responsible for the deaths of other people. Robbo immediately thinks of his late wife and children, but he says nothing to Jett. Unaware of Robbo’s life experience, Jett continues to have a go at him, saying they’re not the same and Robbo has no idea what he went through.

Will the pair patch things up, or will Jett and Robbo become enemies?
