TV icon accidentally sends sultry snap to son's football WhatsApp group

Home and Away star Ada Nicodemou was left red faced after mistakenly sending a sultry photo into a group chat.

The photo itself showed Ada posing on the cover of a magazine, wearing a blue crop top with matching trousers.

She posted the picture on Instagram alongside a video explaining the whole situation.

‘Totally died when I accidentally sent this photo to around 30 adults on my sons soccer group chat,’ she wrote in the caption.

The Leah Patterson actress also told the embarrassing story to 2DAY FM’s Hughesy, Ed & Erin, explaining who the image was actually supposed to be going to.

‘So I did a cover for Stellar a while ago and I was sending the cover to my manager, Claire, to see if she liked it,’ Ada revealed.

‘And it’s quite racy. Like, boobs are out. You know, midriff — like the whole thing going.

‘You’ve got to see the photo to understand how embarrassing this is,’ she added.

When she hadn’t heard back the following day, she checked her phone and was met with a horrifying sight: She had sent the image to her son’s football parents group chat!

‘The next morning I go to my phone and I’m like, “Oh, my God.” I sent it to the group chat.

‘But not only did I send it [to mums], I’m talking mums, dads, my ex-husband…’

Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse in this situation, Ada revealed that they did.

‘No one responded at all,’ she said.

When she apologised and explained her mistake, she was once again met with radio silence, making the whole situation all the more humiliating.

‘Everyone already hated me. But the mums, like the mums hate me,’ Ada said, when asked if the other mum’s thought she did it on purpose.

Fortunately, co-star Emily Symons, who plays Marilyn Chambers in the Australian soap, was able to put a positive spin on the parents’ reactions, saying: ‘Well, imagine if all the dads started putting flames!’
