Leah (Ada Nicodemou) has recently returned from the city after trying to connect with her brother and Theo’s father, Dimitri (Salvatore Coco). Although she tried to convince him to reconcile with his son, it soon became clear there was no getting through to him, so she
returned to Justin (James Stewart) and Theo (Matt Evans) in the Bay. However, the situation rapidly changes when Justin gets a sudden call from Leah a few days later.
Sounding rattled, Leah reveals that Dimitri has shown up in the Bay without warning. Justin immediately rushes off to meet Leah – but not before he texts Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) and asks her to take charge of the garage for the day. Reluctantly, Ziggy gives up her day off with Dean (Patrick O’Connor) and heads in, much to Theo’s confusion. Why is she at work? Ziggy says that something came up for Justin, and she doesn’t know anything else.
Theo’s suspicion grows when he finds out Leah also canceled her shift at the Diner. All he manages to learn is that ‘something came up’ for her as well. Ziggy has a simple explanation – the pair are taking the day to get it on back at the house without interruption! However, Theo isn’t as convinced and it turns out his suspicions are correct.
Later, Leah and Justin pull up at the garage – and they’re excited to reveal that Dimitri is with them. However, his reaction isn’t what they’re expecting as his eyes widen and he looks like he wants to run away. Dimitri waits until they’re alone at the house, then makes his intentions clear – Theo needs to move back home with him. However, Theo flatly refuses.
Dimitri goes on to explain that Theo’s mother has left him. However, Theo is glad to hear the news, which only makes Dimitri angrier. The situation quickly escalates into a fight, which Leah and Justin walk in on. Dimitri’s rage continues as he turns on Leah, accusing her of turning his wife and son against him…
