Roo (Georgie Parker) has recently been faced with a dilemma after Kieran (Rick Donald) made a surprise return to the Bay and indicated a desire to speak with Martha (Belinda Giblin). Knowing that Alf (Ray Meagher) will be the one to persuade, Roo eventually told him the news and was faced with his fury as he hung up on her and refused to talk about it.
However, Alf suddenly returns to the Bay, with Martha in tow – the last thing Roo was expecting. While Alf makes it clear he isn’t willing to risk Martha’s health, Martha says she wants to make her own decision.
Roo is stuck in the middle as she tries to find a place for Kieran to stay. She tries her best to persuade Alf but the conversation quickly heats up and her father explodes, saying Kieran isn’t capable of change and he has to get out of the house, the caravan park and Summer Bay.
After some time to cool off, Alf reluctantly agrees to a meeting with Kieran but won’t promise anything more. When Kieran learns about this development he descends into an anxiety spiral and heads down to Salt, where he asks Mackenzie (Emily Weir) for a bottle of Scotch to go…
Meanwhile, Alf is pacing at home, impatiently waiting for Kieran. Roo is worried about where he could be, especially when he avoids her calls.
No one can find Kieran, until Ryder (Lukas Radovich) sees a figure slumped in an alleyway as he walks home with Chloe (Sam Barrett)…
