Jasmine (Sam Frost) is confused about where she stands with Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) after the pair enjoyed an amazing first date together. After not hearing from him for a few days, she begins getting frustrated by his mixed signals.
Irene (Lynne McGranger) points out that his number is on the noticeboard with the touch footy flyers, so she can get in touch with him herself. Jasmine dials his number and Irene and Marilyn (Emily Symons) watch on as she leaves an icy voicemail for the police officer, accusing him of ghosting her.
When Cash picks up the message, he is confused and goes to find her, saying he was just respecting her boundaries – she only wanted one date, so he didn’t want to pester her. The pair decide to go for a quick drink in Salt, where they find out more about each other.
Their time together is going well, until Cash receives a call from a mystery woman called Felicity which he ignores. As they lean in for their first kiss, Felicity calls again, and Cash makes a swift exit – leaving Jasmine both confused and angry.
When she goes to offload to Irene and Marilyn, neither of the women do much to reassure her, leaving Jasmine feeling that her worst fears have been confirmed – she put her trust in another guy, only to discover he’s got a secret girlfriend or wife…
