Budget supermarket Lidl is well known for its special offers on all sorts of household items. Each week the store reveals a new set of bargain products with its Middle of Lidl deals, featuring home and garden items and even beauty products in the middle of its supermarkets. However, while the special budget buys are only available in store, Lidl announces what’s new on its website every week.

- Lidl: What’s in the Middle of Lidl this week? MASSIVE homeware sale
Launching on Sunday June 14 is the supermarket’s garden essentials range, with plenty of cheap tools that will help to get your outside space in shape for summer.
The new products are in stores from today, but shoppers will have to be quick if they want to get their hands on the low-cost gardening range.
Middle of Lidl deals are only available for a limited time, with stocks always selling fast as customers flock to get the products before they’re gone.
The new collection that launched today include a baby care range, DIY must-haves and garden essentials.
The gardening products are likely to go fast, with impressive gadgets selling for the supermarket’s signature low prices.
One stand-out product is a cordless hedge trimmer that is just £24.99.
The Parkside 20V Cordless Hedge Trimmer features a high-quality, laser-cut blade with an aluminium guide rail and impact protection.
Novice gardeners will be pleased to see it has a two-hand protective switch with quick blade stop, and a sturdy blade protector too.
The trimmer has ergonomic handles with anti-slip soft grip elements, while the handle itself rotates 90 degrees on both sides so that it’s easier to cut vertically.

However, there is a reason the trimmer is so cheap. The cordless design requires a battery and a charger to give it power.
The compatible Parkside 20V batteries and charger are sold separately at Lidl – though you can buy both in one for just £19.99.
So anyone looking for a budget hedge trimmer will have to spend almost £45 at Lidl for the full kit.
It’s still a bargain buy though, and will make light work of keeping the garden tidy this summer. Plus, if you buy the battery and charger, they’re compatible with plenty of other tools in the range.

Shoppers can team it with the Cordless Pressure Washer, which is also on sale from today for just £49.99.
For those with just a small patch of grass to look after, there’s also a Cordless Grass Trimmer for £19.99 in the new range.
The Cordless Pruning Saw also requires the same 20V battery, so keen gardeners can power up the whole set without having to spend more.
There’s also a lawnmower on offer for just £99.99, though it requires two of the 20V batteries to get it working.
However, even those who aren’t lucky enough to have a garden to prune will be able to make some home improvements with Lidl’s new range this weekend.
The store has also launched DIY tools – which require the same battery pack – so shoppers can pick up on the essentials for a home makeover on their next grocery shop.
The collection includes saws, drills, sanders and wall plug sets, with the saw being the most expensive item at a still reasonable £29.99.
There’s even a Powerfix Profi Grout Pen or Wood Touch-Up Pen for just £1.79, to fill in grouting or to disguise marks on wooden furnishings and surfaces.
The pens are available in white or grey for grout, or in five different wood tones so you can hide scratches and imperfections around the home quickly and easily with permanent coverage.
