Customers at Tesco, Iceland, Asda and Morrisons have been warned to check their purchases if they recently completed their food shop. Food products from these stores have been recalled amid fears they may contain plastic, undeclared ingredients – which could pose a threat to allergy sufferers – and even traces of salmonella, which would be a huge health risk. TESCO
British cheeseburgers with buns
Tesco are recalling is Tesco 2 British Cheese Burgers with Buns because they contain sesame, which was not mentioned on the label. This could be a possible heath risk to anyone with an allergy to sesame.
Customers who have bought the 469g product should look out for items with the use by date codes: 28, 29, and 30 June 2019, as well as 1, 3 and 4 July 2019.
Any customers who have an allergy to sesame are strictly advised not to eat the product, but instead return it to the store of purchase where they’ll be given a full refund.
ICELAND
Crispy chicken dippers
The frozen food connoisseurs have issued an urgent recall for their Crispy Chicken Dippers, as some packs may contain pieces of hard plastic.
The particular product in question is the bag of 60 dippers, and customers have been told to watch out for all date codes.
Shoppers are advised to return the item to the store in exchange for a refund.

Yorkshire Provender soup
Yorkshire provider have recalled their Rustic Vegetable Broth with Kale, Lentils & Quinoa Soup, as it contains an ingredient which hasn’t been mentioned on the label.
The pot contains a pea soup including milk, which hast been declared. The label also states that the product is suitable for vegans, however, due to is milk content this product wouldn’t meet the vegan standards.
Stockists of the Provender soup include Asda, Morrisons, Co-op, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose and Nisa. The item in question is the 600g pot, with the use by date: 8 July 2019.
AMAZON
Chilli Powder
P & B Foods Ltd is recalling Heera Chilli Powder Extra Hot because salmonella has been found in the product.
Salmonella is a bacterium, which cause illness in humans and animals.
Symptoms caused by salmonella usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.
The item – which is stocked on Amazon – has been taken off the shelves, and customers are being advised to return it immediately.
