Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury’s all stock Primula cheese, a popular type of cheese that comes in a tube. There are fears the products have been contaminated with a bacteria, Clostridium botulinum.

What is Clostridium botulinum?
Clostridium botulinum is a toxic-producing bacteria.
The World Health Organization said: “Botulinum toxins are one of the most lethal substances known.
“Botulinum toxins block nerve functions and can lead to respiratory and muscular paralysis.”

Tesco is allowing customers to wait in their cars instead of queuing.
A statement said: “If it’s raining or particularly cold, we may ask you to stay in your car to queue – we’ll let you know when you can come in.”
Asda has a similar idea in place, but with digital intervention.
