Subway launches tiger bread as a permanent menu item

Find someone who doesn’t like tiger bread. We dare you to try.

This universally loved baked good is famous on Twitter for ‘Fiat 500’ Lurpak and tiger bread tweets. And, although some people might poke fun at these posts, it can’t really be denied that it’s delicious.

Subway is getting in on the game now, too, launching a brand new tiger bread roll that customers can have for any of their sandwiches.

It joins the eight-strong line up of Subway bread already available. Whether its crispy top and fluffy inner can top hearty Italian, we shall only have to see.

The new bread will be available from 11 November in all stories nationwide, and loaves will be freshly prepared daily as the others are.

The brand has also urged customers to ‘keep an eye’ on any new festive items, with Christmas rolling out over the next few weeks.

Today is a big day for Christmas bakery fans, as Greggs has launched their Festive Bake for another year (and this time around you can have it delivered).

M&S also caused a stir asking people on Twitter if they wanted some of ‘Santa’s Yumnut’. Thankfully, the Yumnut is their version of a doughnut and a yum yum, so your blushes can be spared.

It hasn’t stopped everyone on the internet having a giggle at the name, though.
