M&S reveals £12 chocolate box that turns into a mini table

If the only downside to a box of chocolates for you is having to reach for them, your prayers have just been answers.

M&S is releasing a brand new box of minty chocolates where you can turn the lid into ‘legs’ – effectively making the whole thing into a mini table.

On a post on their food Instagram, the supermarket wrote: ‘Not only do our After Dinner Mint Chocolates taste absolutely divine, the box itself TURNS INTO A MINI TABLE. No more leaning down to choose your next choc (you’re welcome). Pick one up in stores now, and thank us later!’

They added: ‘Don’t be fooled by the name, these chocs can and SHOULD be eaten at any time of the day.’

Flavours in the box include dark mint, milk chocolate mint fondant, dark chocolate mint fondant, and three types of mint chocolate baton.

The boxes will cost £12 and can be purchased from now until Christmas. As with any popular products, though, you might want to get in early to avoid disappointment.

Marks and Spencer’s picture of the chocolatey table has become their most liked yet, with over 9,000 likes and over 600 comments.

One person wrote: ‘An absolute must’, while another chimed in ‘Need for my new flat’.

Even the store’s post about ‘Santa’s Yumnuts’ was surpassed in terms of likes and comments.

In case you missed it, M&S found themselves at the centre of a debacle a few weeks back, after their Yumnut (yum yum and doughnut hybrid) raised eyebrows.

Twitter users couldn’t help but chuckle when the supermarket took to social media to ask ‘who wants a bite of Santa’s Yumnut?’

A double entendre? Well, we couldn’t possibly comment.
