Lidl is known for its great quality food at affordable prices but shoppers can also make more savings on its discounted fresh groceries this week. The supermarket has slashed the price of some its most popular food items.
Like other supermarkets, Lidl will often run promotions on certain food products.
This comes weekly from the supermarket who is known for its Pick of the Week.
The discounter will also have promotions on seasonal items, allowing customers to make huge savings.
This week, Lidl has slashed the price of some of its most popular grocery items and customers have gone mad for the deals.
Announcing the news on Instagram, the supermarket said: “In store now. When it’s gone, it’s gone.”
Reducing the price of grapes from £1.39 to just 99p this week, shoppers can make huge savings in store.
The supermarket is also offering deals on baking potatoes, tomatoes and radishes for as little as 35p.
Raspberries and spring greens are amongst the other groceries included in the deal this week.

Customers took to the comments to share how they were heading to the supermarket as soon as they could.
One person said: “Love going to Lidl.”
Another wrote: “You can’t get better than this.”
“I love their raspberries,” a third commented.
The supermarket also has a number of other offers on fresh food available with its summer BBQ food proving to be a hit with customers.
What’s more, customers can make even bigger savings on their food shops in Lidl by downloading its app which launched last year.
This week, shoppers can save 20 percent on bakery cakes and pastries as well as 15 percent on cereals, frozen vegetables and desserts.
Customers have until Thursday to redeem the discounts.
These offers are only available for shoppers who have the app downloaded onto their mobile devices.
The app is available on the App Store as well as the Google Play store.
Customers will be given rewards and discounts every time they make a valid purchase.
When using the app, shoppers will regularly unlock virtual scratch cards where they can win money off their next shop.
Lidl isn’t the only supermarket to have slashed the price of some of its essential groceries.
Asda has reduced the cost of various essential items, promising “everyday low prices” for its shoppers in store and online.
During the pandemic, Asda dropped the price of more than 1,000 essential items such as meats, cheeses and cupboard staples.
Most recently, it permanently lowered the cost of 62 essential items.
This focuses on making its Free From range more affordable for customers with allergies.
It involved discounts of up to 78 percent on key items such as Free From flour, cereal and bread.
