And, yes, you read that correctly. These buttery, crumbly cookies require just three ingredients and are ready to bake in just 10 minutes.

This delightful recipe makes around 15 – so there’s plenty to go around. 

It comes from Georgia behind The Comfort of Cooking blog, who explains that while she’s not usually a fan of ‘roll-out cookie recipes,’ this one is pretty hard to resist.

She also says that once you’ve nailed this simple recipe, it can be used for anything that requires a shortbread base – we’re talking millionaire’s shortbread, desserts and more.

  • 1 cup (around 226.8g) butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup (around 50g) powdered sugar
  • 2 cups (around 256g) all-purpose flour
