A WOMAN has made her rug look brand new simply by shampooing it – revealing how dirty it was to begin with.
She asked people not to "judge" her as she shared incredible before-and-after photos of her deep clean, with the transformation so extreme some didn't believe it was the same rug.
Sharing snaps to Facebook group Cleaning Tips & Tricks, she said: “Damn now this is embarrassing, if you ask me lol my rug always get dirty super fast decided to shampoo it finally.
“Don't judge me I got 2 inside dogs plus me and my husband and brother.”
Her Oriental-inspired rug looks brighter and sharper, with the colours more clearly defined.
To get her rug looking so clean she revealed she used a specialist shampoo, from the Bissel range, which is designed specifically for pet owners.
Argos sells various Bissel shampoos, as well as vacuum cleaners, with the cheapest solution costing just £14.99.
The woman’s snaps have racked up hundreds of likes, as people were inspired to give their own upholstery a clean.
