What you see first in new optical illusion reveals if you’re straightforward and old-fashioned, or follow your emotions | The Sun

A NEW optical illusion has promised to reveal your character type in just a glance of the eye.

Depending on what creature you see first will determine if you are a straightforward and old-fashioned type, or if you are more inclined to follow your emotions.

The challenge came from Psychology Love (@psychologylove100), whose TikTok is dedicated to similar tests.

It has proved to be an enormously successful formula because he has over 315,000 followers.

Similar to his other videos, this post posed a mind game for viewers featuring two small creatures.

Whichever animal was seen first was said to be a strong indicator of an individual's personality traits.

“What do you see first in this picture?" asked Psychology Love.

"If you’ve seen a rabbit, it means that every time you do something you ask yourself lots of questions and you’re a straightforward person, so you don’t usually change your mind," he said.

You're family orientated too. "You are looking for someone who can understand your sometimes old-fashioned view of the world."

Then he concluded: “You’re faithful in your relationships, both in love and friendship."

It was a different story, however, if it was a duck you saw first in the picture.

“It means you often make decisions based on emotion. You follow your heart and don’t like people telling you what to do," he wrote.

“When a project is close to your heart, you’re patient, methodical, and determined," was his final verdict.

Commenters in their hundreds piled in to share their experience of the video, which was liked over 35,000 times.

“How is it this man [is] always right on what I see?” asked a baffled fan.

“I saw the duck. It’s pretty accurate," was the reaction of another.

Bringing the post to a close, this fan admitted some confusion: “But I see both straightway, so what does that mean?”
