This Uber user was startled when he saw who the driver was coming to collect him

Daniel Powell, co-creator of EP of Inside Amy Schumer and generally known for his producing, was most amused to see that 'Christ' had messaged him claiming he had arrived.

Posting to Twitter, Daniel quipped: "Not how I expected him to come back but okay".

It seems Christ doesn't hang around long either – his time is very expensive – as one text from him suggested he'll wait just two minutes for Daniel before he starts to charge.

He is a very busy man after all.

It's not just him that enjoyed the name of his driver either, because after posting to the Twittersphere, he received 34,000 likes.

When it came to the end of his journey, Daniel was asked to rate Christ and he confirmed to his followers he 'gave him 5 stars and tipped him'.

But the real question is, was Daniel being delivered to his destination or being delivered from evil?

But it was his followers responses that really tickled.

One said: "I mean the Wise Men only needed one star but I guess times have changed".

Another, referring ironically to the time Jesus used five loaves and two fish to feed 5000 said: "He can turn one Hyundai into a fleet of Exec Mercedes Saloons".

A third said: "I thought no-one knew the day or hour?".

And so the banter continued.

Those that drive Elantras were pleased to see Christ's car of choice, while others commented his car of choice was his way of being humble.

Either way, Christ is really keeping up with the times.
