And while it might seem like harmless fun, experts are warning that it could actually be pretty dangerous.

It started off as a sing-along video by YouTube channel, Pinkfong.

And the song has since taken the internet by storm, racking up 3.3 billion views and becoming the 35th most popular YouTube video ever.

It gained so much traction that it even evolved into a "Baby Shark Challenge", which sees people getting out of moving cars and dancing while being filmed – similar to the "in my feelings challenge" or the "kiki challenge".

Now, experts are calling it dangerous.

Jordan Foster, a cyber safety expert and child psychologist told The New Daily: "It’s simply dangerous to be jumping out of your moving car to perform this dance."
