But with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirming they are expecting their first baby in Spring 2019, there is one Royal pregnancy rule that Meghan Markle has ALREADY broken…
Unlike other Royal women, Meghan's big news was confirmed by Kensington Palace just hours after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex touched down in Australia for their latest royal tour.
However, the mother-to-be has already broken royal pregnancy rules by travelling abroad having only just made it out of her first trimester.
According to reports, pregnant royals are encouraged to keep travelling abroad to a minimum to best ensure both mother and baby-safety.
Although royal women typically complete official engagements until the end of their pregnancy, they're encouraged to stay close to home in case there is a medical emergency.
So while Meghan's recent trip to Brighton is typical of her duties as the Duchess of Sussex, the parents-to-be have already broken royal tradition with their intense itinerary for their latest tour.
Over the course of the next week, the parents-to-be will travel around Australia, Fiji and New Zealand and complete 76 royal engagements focusing.
Along with two visits to the Invictus Games, the parents-to-be's full-on schedule will focus on "youth leadership and projects being undertaken by young people to address the social, economic and environmental challenges of the region", according to a Palace press release.
However, Meghan isn't the only royal woman to break this royal pregnancy rule.
Back in February, Kate Middleton completed an official tour of Norway when she was six months pregnant with Prince Louis.
But following this whistle-stop trip, Kate is understood to have kept her other engagements to a minimum.
