Probiotics

  • Press Water + Probiotics – buy now

Press have come up with some fantastic water based drinks that also contain probiotics – our healthy good bacteria which can have a positive role on gut health.

I tried the Strawberry and Dragonfruit which is 82.47% water, lemon juice, agave syrup, the fruit juices and probiotics. And it is delicious. Quite tangy, dry and really refreshing.

Just 63kcal and 14g sugar per 330ml bottle. A bit pricey at £2.99 but a great product and a lovely grown up drink.

Fizzy water

  • Soda Stream Spirit Classic machine – buy now

I had a Soda Stream back in the day when I was a kid and remember it all being really sweet, fizzy drinks. Now the Soda Stream is back and perfect for grown ups.

The Soda Stream Spirit Classic is a compact cordless machine that comes with a 1l bottle and the important cylinder that will make up to 60l of fizz. This turns the normal tap stuff into delicate effervescent water that tastes great. It's £99.99 but you'll never need to buy sparkling water or soda water (for your wine!) ever again.

I love this and it has encouraged me to drink more water. Plus it's fun to make!

Natural energy drink

  • Purdey's Rejuvenate Natural Energy drink – buy now

Purdey's Rejuvenate is 46% carbonated spring water with grape and apple juice and botanical extracts – including Chinese ginseng that is said to help with brain function and reduce stress.

It's caffeine free but contains vitamins B and C that help reduce tiredness and fatigue. Plus each bottle contains one of your five a day. A sweet flavour with a slight herbal taste too.

I like it. A posh drink. But quite high in sugar – 21g per 330ml but just 99kcal and £1.59.

Budget

  • Revlon, Super Lustrous Lipstick £7.49 – buy now

A classic lipstick formulated with microfine pigments to leave a high-impact colour with a lightweight feel.

Infused with avocado oil and vitamin E for hydration. 35 shades available at Boots in four finishes, crème, matte, pearl, sheer.

It does need reapplying fairly often but is still a great choice for the bargain price and the colour choice is fab!

Mid

  • Doll Beauty, Doll Lips, £13.00 – buy now

Highly pigmented lipstick available in 8 peachy nude tones that felt super smooth on application.

I applied two coats to get the depth of colour I wanted and it didn’t budge at all! Stayed put for hours.

Would love to see more shades available as the formula is great.

Luxury

  • Mii, Click and Colour Crayon, £17.00 – launches September 9

Brand new launching September 9 this crayon is infused with avocado and mango oil creating an ultra-creamy and smooth formula.

I found it hydrating on my lips but still with a strong and long-lasting colour. Available in three colours, Pinot Blush, Cassis and Cognac.

I went for the pinky-nude shade Pinot Blush and it’s now my go to lippy! My favourite!
