Shoppers are racing to Sainsbury's to snap up bargain buys that are perfect for the heatwave & prices start from 20p | The Sun

WITH temperatures predicted to hit close to 33C today, in what could be the hottest day of the year, the clammy climate may prove to be unbearable for some.

But rather than spend a small fortune on electricity by turning the air con on, turns out there's a much cheaper way to stay cool – and it's all thanks to a bargain buy in Sainsbury's mega sale.

Delighted shopper Ally Wallace Shaw rushed online to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK and showed off the heavily discounted items that she managed to get – and they're perfect for the warmer weather.

First up, she told how she managed to get her hands on the £15 'Bestway Rectangular 7ft Padding Pool' for the reduced price of just £2.50 – meaning a whopping saving of £12.50.

It features a textured pattern on extra-wide sidewalls and is super quick and easy to setup.

Not only that but it can also double up as a sand pit, so you really will be getting your money's-worth!
