PrettyLittleThing is putting an end to dodgy clothing choices with this amazing new shopping feature – and women are loving it

The online retailer is using two models of totally different sizes to showcase the same item of clothing – so people of all shapes can see how it looks.

The move is part of the brand’s new collaboration with Hailey Baldwin, which showcases its sequined range.

The ‘Sequin City’ campaign shows a slim model alongside a plus-size one.

Fans have responded by telling PLT it is “slaying”, and are calling on other retailers to follow suit.

One fan said on Twitter: “I love that not only two shapes/sizes are shown but that the outfits are styled to accentuate their respective body shaped.

“They don’t look like carbon copies and I’m here for that.”

Another person said: “I’m personally not a fan of their clothes, but this is such a good thing!

“More companies need to take note.”

But not everyone was happy, with one person commenting: “This is amazing!

“But can we also get images of what clothes look on models of different heights because trouser and Jean shopping is a big issue when you’re 5ft tall.”

Earlier this year fellow online giant ASOS started showing clothes on three different sized models, which was also met with praise, as does shop Express.

Despite the overwhelming positive responses to PLT’s decision, some people have questioned whether it would fuel comparisons.

One person tweeted: “I can’t be the only one that sees this as a negative thing.

“As if women didn’t compare themselves enough?

“I get the idea but I don’t think it’s as wise as they considered.”

This shopper claims a £12 wig she bought from PLT left her looking like Harry Potter’s Dumbledore after it arrived ‘matted and burnt’.

We recently revealed that a shopper was left disgusted after the PLT bikini arrived with "bloodstains and a HAIR in crotch".

While critics also slammed the brand for using size 16 models to advertise its bikini range, saying "obesity shouldn't be promoted".
