Nike Dunk High Goes Back To Basics With "Pure Platinum" Drop

Nike‘s Dunk High has had a stellar year, collaborating with the likes of Concepts and dropping in classic colorways such as “Pro Green,” and now the pair is set to release in another popular hue — “Pure Platinum.”

The triple white Dunk High comes after a plethora of bold colorways, and although it is similar in color to the Slam Jam Dunk High, it offers something even crisper and cleaner. It’s made entirely from leather, too, meaning that its white base will be easily cleanable if you choose to wear these on the soon-coming and less-than-ideal winter days.

Despite its monotone appearance, the Dunk High “Pure Platinum” does offer plenty of detail. For example, the toe box is perforated, the tongue is made from breathable mesh, the heel is topstitched and padded for extra comfort. Nike has used premium leather all around that’s sure to develop a patina and creases with age, giving the shoe extra detail as time goes on.

The Nike Dunk High “Pure Platinum” is due to drop on November 13 for $120 USD on Nike’s website. Take a closer look at the pair above.
