NHS and social care workers have been working tirelessly on the frontline amid the coronavirus outbreak – and now they can get free emergency home repairs as part of a £1 million helping hand for Britain’s healthcare heroes.
HomeServe, the home repairs and improvements business, has today launched the special offer as a thank you to those at the frontline of the Covid-19 response in a bid to show how grateful the nation is for all their hard work.

Among the repairs they can receive for free is plumbing, drainage and heating, which will be provided by HomeServe’s network of qualified engineers, and typically within the same day.

HomeServe hope the £1 million fund will cover the cost of up to 10,000 emergency repairs across the UK.
“Everyone at HomeServe wants to do their bit to ensure that NHS and Social Care workers have working plumbing and hot water at home at the end of an exhausting shift, whether they are HomeServe customers or not," Richard said.
