Meghan Markle’s wedding dress could be going on display at Windsor Castle…and we can’t wait

Yep, if the plans go ahead, you could be in the same room as The Duchess of Sussex's wedding dress, estimated to be worth up to £387,000.

According to the Daily Express, palace officials are deciding whether to make Meghan's dress the focus of a new exhibition at Windsor Castle.

The simple and elegant gown was designed by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy – who Meghan chose "for her timeless and elegant aesthetic, impeccable tailoring, and relaxed demeanour".

While some believe the decision is yet to be confirmed, sources are said to have told the Daily Express that the dress will go on show by the end of the year.

Which means we could be in the same room as Meghan's incredible gown in just a matter of months.

Meghan and Clare worked closely on the design, which featured three-quarter length sleeves, a bateau neckline and a 15ft veil made from silk tulle and embroidered with flowers from all 53 of the Commonwealth countries.

The gown is expected to be worth between £100-387k.

"I think she loved the fact that I was a British designer and working in a house such as Givenchy, which has its roots in a classical, beautiful style from the time of Hubert [de Givenchy] himself," said the designer, two days after the wedding.

“It was an incredible thing to be part of, such an historic moment."

If the dress does go on display, it's expected an announcement will be made later in the year.

Fingers crossed.
