Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to hire a MANNY to care for Baby Sussex

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to have started making enquiries into employing a ‘manny’ to care for their little one, which is due next month.

This comes just a few days after Vanity Fair claimed that the Duchess of Sussex was telling guests at her recent New York baby shower that she would raise their baby in a "fluid" way. Kensington Palace has since denied the reports.

The royal insider said: “Hiring a ‘manny ‘ is far more common in the US – a nation that Meghan is more in tune with – than in the UK. She’s keen to introduce the royal family to what she considers a more enlightened, modern American approach."

It's also one that's very popular with celebs, and Meghan's got plenty of A-list pals.

Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Biel and Britney Spears are all reported to have retained the services of a live in manny.

And even our own Mary Poppins, Emily Blunt is rumoured to have had male help when it comes to her two daughters Hazel and Violet.

And one possible reason for the royals' decision could be Harry's close relationship with his childhood nanny Tiggy Legge-Bourke.

The insider added: "Of course, Harry had a very Tomboyish nanny himself in Tiggy who taught him and William about abseiling, fishing and other outdoor pursuits in Monmouthshire.

“He and Meghan have discussed nannies and both have open mind to a male nanny. They will definitely try to shortlist one.”

Given the emphasis on traditionally male pastimes, it's believed this could be the biggest hint yet that Meghan is having a boy.

While the source said that the couple is yet to hire a nanny, they are exploring their options at three UK agencies, two based in London.

They continued: “Meghan and Harry are exploring all their options, and  will be employing a nanny from September."

"A bilingual nanny is an avenue they both wish to explore. Meghan speaks good Spanish and has been honing her French and will be keen that her offspring retain an ear for languages.

“The Cambridges’ Spanish nanny Maria Borallo has been teaching George and Charlotte conversational Spanish, a fact not missed by the Sussexes!”

Kensington Palace declined to comment on the claims.

In other Meghan news, the Duchess of Sussex appeared to put rumours of a rift between she and Kate to bed as the two women were seen laughing at a Buckingham Palace reception on Tuesday.

Elsewhere bookies say that Diana has been revealed as the favourite potential name for the royal baby.
