Madonna’s daughter makes a risqué runway debut

Call it the look from shell.

Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon hit the runway Tuesday night for Gypsy Sport, a gender-fluid fashion line, her first time walking a major catwalk at New York Fashion Week.

The 21-year-old donned a body-chain bedecked with shells, black briefs and ultra-deconstructed jeans paired with chunky dad sneakers. The look was topped off with a sliver of sunglasses, the tiniest iteration of trendy tiny sunglasses we’ve seen yet.

Gypsy Sport was founded by Los Angeles native Rio Uribe in 2012. Uribe got his start working in the stockroom at Balenciaga and eventually worked in merchandising for the luxury label.

Uribe first showed the unabashedly scanty line at Fashion Week in 2014 and earned a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award in 2015, which came with $300,000 to help grow the brand.

Celebs including Christina Aguilera and Cardi B have donned his daring wares.

The brand forgoes traditional model casting in favor of open calls, writing on Instagram that it’s “open to all types of beauty.”
