Kohl's Will Accept Amazon Returns at All Brick and Mortar Locations Starting July 2019

Online shopping just got even more convenient.

Kohl’s announced this morning that all brick and mortar locations will accept “free, convenient and unpackaged returns for Amazon customers” starting this July in an effort to boost foot traffic.

Amazon and Kohl’s first partnered in 2017 to bring a trial run of the hassle-free return service to customers at over 100 Kohl’s locations in Los Angeles, Chicago and Milwaukee. With today’s announcement, that number jumped to 1,150 locations in 48 states.

Kohl’s chief executive officer Michelle Gass said in a statement that Amazon Returns is, “another example of how Kohl’s is delivering innovation to drive traffic to our stores and bring more relevance to our customers.”

Amazon shoppers can bring packaged or unpackaged items into stores to ship back for free, regardless of the reason for return. And, according to Fortune, Kohl’s stores will also be selling Amazon merchandise in more than 200 stores.

“We are thrilled to bring Amazon Returns at Kohl’s to all of our stores across the country,” Gass said. “Amazon and Kohl’s have a shared passion in providing outstanding customer service, and this unique partnership combines Kohl’s strong nationwide store footprint and omnichannel capabilities with Amazon’s reach and customer loyalty.”

Aside from a major Amazon partnership, Kohl’s has also launched several other buzz-worthy projects in the past year, including a partnership with grocery chain Aldi and fresh collaborations with stars like Lauren Conrad and Drew and Jonathan Scott of Property Brothers
