Kanye Showed Off His Own Yeezy Slides During 2 Chainz’s Wedding
Kanye West has resurrected the age-old “socks with sandals” fashion debate from the grave, but with an added twist: are they wedding appropriate?
I’ll be the first to admit, sometimes I reach for my trusty Birkenstocks and favorite socks when I’m running to the grocery store or boarding a flight, but I can’t imagine my best friend’s reaction if I tried to pair my bridesmaid’s dress with slides at her wedding. Now, imagine those slides are obviously a size too small. That’s a line most wedding guests won’t dare to cross. That is, unless your name is Kanye West.
When Kanye and wife Kim Kardashian showed up to celebrate 2 Chainz’s wedding, she caught everyone’s eye with her neon green dress but he brought a unique look all his own. You may first notice that the fashion designer and rapper opted out of shirt underneath his suit jacket, but cast your gaze downwards and you’ll likely become distracted by his choice in footwear. Kanye kept things casual in gray socks and his own Yeezy slippers, which appear to be a bit too small, as his feet hung off the edge.
