A MCDONALD'S superfan who has lost 11 stone in weight has revealed what she orders from the fast food eatery now, compared to before she shed the pounds.

Amber now works as a weight loss coach, and is doing her best to help other people reframe their outlook on diet and what they are eating.





"I'm doing this series to prove that it really comes down to balance, and moderation," she said.

"Before I lost 160lbs I had no sense of balance.

"So this is what I would get at McDonald's before I lost 160lbs.

"I would get a double quarter pounder with cheese, a large fries and a large Dr Pepper. And I would get a side of ranch to dip my fries in.

"That one meal in my day – because remember, that would just be one meal, I would eat more throughout the day – would come to 1,610 calories."

Now she's lost the weight, Amber still goes to McDonald's, but makes more sensible choices.

As for what she ordered yesterday when she went there with her boyfriend for lunch, she continued her TikTok video: "I got the McCrispy, a small fries, and a large Diet Coke.

"All for 700 calories, which gave me plenty of room in my day to fit in other meals.

"And McDonald's has other options you could get for a lower amount of calories.

"It's not about restriction, it's about moderation and finding the balance between all or nothing."

People were quick to take to the comments section, with one writing: "Love this! Makes it so much more realistic!"

"Your videos have really helped me reframe my view of food. ty!" another praised.

While a third commented: "I love these videos! I just got the power bowl you recommended and it was amazing!"

And someone else wrote: "I work at McDonald’s and people order mcrispys with no bun.

"We use lettuce instead of the bun so it makes a salad."

Amber also visits McDonald's for breakfast on occasion.

Before losing her weight, she'd usually go for pancakes and sausage patty, one hash brown and a large vanilla iced latte – making a total of 1,190 calories.

Now, she opts for an egg McMuffin, a hash brown and a small iced coffee.

That comes to just 580 calories – almost half what the first meal choice comes in at.

"I absolutely love that these meal swaps are realistic, still 'treating yourself' swaps rather than the dramatic 'only way to eat fast food' islettuce wrap, no sauce, no cheese, side salad, water to drink kinda swaps," one person praised in the comments on that TikTok.
