A WOMAN has shared how she made her very own table using bargain buys from Ikea – but it’s left people very divided.
But while Coco, the DIY fan from Wilhelmshaven, Germany, was thrilled with her “simple Ikea hack”, not everyone was as impressed.
Posting on TikTok under the username @kleinstadtcoco, Coco took to the video sharing platform to show off how she made her table.
At the start of the video, we saw Coco in Ikea as she nabbed her supplies for the DIY project.
She said: “I’ll show you a simple Ikea hack.
“You need armrest trays and a turntable.

“First glue both armrest trays together and then glue the other ends together to form a cylinder.
“Then paint the turntable, put the trays together and put the turntable on it.
“Decorate everything and ready is [your] new side table.”
Coco proudly showed off her creation, but not everyone was as pleased with it as she was.

Her clip has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly gone viral and has amassed a whopping two million views.
It has 66.7k likes, 210 comments, 13.6k saves and 2,500 shares.
However, social media users were left divided at Coco’s DIY job.

Whilst another DIY fan shared: “Omg! Love this.”
However, at the same time, the majority of users weren’t keen and made jokes about the table.
One person said: “A basic understanding of gravity would tell you that it will constantly fall over. Put another turntable at the bottom.”
Another joked: “That's as stable as my emotional regulation.”
A third commented: “Give it an hour.”
Meanwhile, one user posted: “My cats will break that just by looking at it.”
