A WOMAN has taken to social media to reveal that she jetted abroad for a set of new teeth.
Mum-of-two Lauren Stobart, who posts on TikTok under the username @littlelifeofruandlu explained that she flew to Turkey for a set of veneers.
Lauren, one of many who have jetted off to Turkey to get their teeth done, took to social media to show off her new pearly whites as part of a trend that has been dubbed "Turkey teeth".
The TikTok hashtag "#TurkeyTeeth" has reached more than 130 million views.
Several reality TV influencers and celebrities have also had their teeth done, including former Love Island star Jack Fincham and Katie Price.
The procedure of having veneers done can be aggressive and invasive to teeth.

They require almost 70% of your teeth to be filed down.
But Lauren explained that she “hated” her natural teeth and was desperate to get them sorted with veneers.
She shared her clip with the caption ‘Bring on the trolls 😂 I’m happy with them and that’s all that matters… confidence has gone from 0-100! Do your research kids 🤙🏽’
She said: “Come with me to get my teeth done in Turkey.”

In the clip, we saw Lauren and her family at the airport, getting ready to board their flight to Turkey.
Shortly after we saw the family on the plane and just moments later the family touched down in Turkey, as Lauren said: “We’ve arrived!”
Lauren then explained: “Literally just waiting for a taxi to take us to the dental clinic.
“It’s safe to say, I am absolutely sh***ing my pants.
“So yeah, I’ll let you know how it goes.
“Here are my teeth before – awful, absolutely awful. I hate them.
“I don’t smile in photos, so yeah.”
Lauren then gave her followers a close look at the dental process.
We saw her in the dental chair and she shared what her teeth looked like after they had been filed down.
Once the procedure was finished, Lauren smiled, as she proudly gave social media users a look at her new teeth.
Lauren explained that she spent £2,660 for the veneers, hotel and transfers.
She confirmed that she just had to pay for her flights separately.
She later added: “Took a week in total, I visited the clinic 4 times.
“The longest I was there was the first appointment which was 3 hours and all the rest were 30 mins.”
Lauren’s clip was posted just two days ago, but it has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly racked up a whopping 43.4k views.
It has 546 likes, 45 comments and 14 shares.
TikTok users were left divided over Lauren’s new look – while many thought her veneers looked great, others thought they were too white.
One person said: “There's nothing wrong with them. You're beautiful inside and out.”
Another added: “They look incredible, enjoy your new smile.”
A third commented: “They look amazing.”
However, one woman noted: “There was nothing wrong with them!”
Whilst someone else posted: “The issues with turkey teeth are the inevitable problems you’ll get from your natural teeth underneath in the future, that’s what you need to think of.”
