I love lazy dinners and will do anything to cut cooking time – my BLT pizza is a staple but trolls say it looks uncooked | The Sun

A NEW mum with a fancy for lazy dinners divulged her “BLT pizza” recipe – but it has divided opinions.

Brooke Stepp is famed for her quick meals which require minimal effort and only a handful of ingredients.

Her BLT pizza recipe is what it says on the tin – pizza base with bacon, lettuce and tomatoes on top.

But it’s not the concept that has everyone talking… It's the crust.

“I love quick and easy dinners,” she said in a video. “This BLT pizza is one of those really fast dinners that also tastes delicious.”

Brooke, who gave birth to a baby girl in April this year, cut corners in the recipe by using ready-made pizza dough and pre-cooked bacon.

She said these choices were to make the recipe “as easy as possible”.

“On a grease cookie sheet, roll out your pizza dough,” she instructed. “And then you’ll top this with some mozzarella cheese.

“Bake this at 400 degrees fahrenheit until the crust is how you like it.”

And while Brooke was clear that the crust was down to preference, trolls were quick to point out that hers looked raw.

“That crust does not look finished,” one critic penned with a crying emoji.

“The dough does not look cooked,” another said.

One viewer clapped back at critics on behalf of Brooke, telling them to “cook theirs longer and be happy”.

“Hahaha. Pizza? F*****g millennials,” one troll moaned. “This is why the world is getting more and more f****d up.”

Others thought the pale dough looked delicious and were keen to try the recipe themselves.

“Looks bomb,” one said. “I’m gonna try it.”

“I’m going to make this,” another vowed.

Other lazy recipes the mum-of-one from Tennessee, US has made since giving birth include chilli cheese chips, garlic bread cheese toasties and “taco lasagna”.
