Naomi Cacacie, 39, found out the devastating news when her 12-year-old son revealed his dad, Darran Rosic, had a secret girlfriend.
And when the hairdresser, from Hounslow, west London, discovered his sordid secret, she dumped him.
Naomi says: “Darran was my childhood sweetheart, I was besotted with him. I thought we’d be together forever.
“To find out from our son that he was cheating was heartbreaking. I’m just glad he’s out of my life for good now.”
When Naomi’s husband Darran, now 41, started a new job as a security manager for an airport cargo company in January 2013, he started paying particular attention to his appearance.
Naomi says: “After landing his new position, he joined a gym, bought new clothes and even purchased designer underwear. I thought he wanted to make a good impression at work.”
Then, in November 2013, while Naomi was five months pregnant with their second child, cracks in their marriage started to show.
She says: “We were constantly arguing. I put it down to him being stressed at work and tried not to irritate him.”
When Naomi gave birth to their daughter in April 2014, she hoped Darran would return to the caring family man he once was.
But he continued to party after work, while Naomi looked after their children.
Naomi started to suspect Darran was cheating when he didn’t go on a family trip to Bournemouth in summer 2016 due to work commitments.
The couple barely spoke while Naomi tried to have fun with their children.
And when she returned she noticed something odd.
She says: “I found empty beer bottles and a bottle of white wine in the recycling bin.
“I questioned him, and he said he’d had some drinks the night before.
“But Darran didn’t drink wine. That’s when I began to suspect him of cheating.”

Then, a few days later, Naomi opened up his credit card statement.
There were receipts for restaurants and bars out of the area.
That evening, she confronted her husband, but he told her she was being paranoid and claimed it was a company card so loads of people used it.
Naomi says: “He told me that I needed to get my head checked out.”
By September, after a huge row, Darran stormed out of the house, telling Naomi he was going to stay with a friend for a few days.
But the following week, Naomi’s 12-year-old son came home from visiting his dad and aroused Naomi’s suspicions that her husband was cheating.
She says: “My son told me his dad had asked him how he’d feel if he had a new girlfriend.
“That was when I knew for sure he was having an affair. I was devastated.”
That night, Naomi logged onto Instagram and looked through her husband’s profile. There were no pictures of her anywhere.
In every family picture, she was deliberately cropped out.
Then she noticed one woman who was liking and commenting on all her husband’s pictures.
Naomi says: “I clicked on her profile and saw she was 24.
“As I looked through her pictures, I saw them standing together in matching work uniforms.
“Then I noticed she’d posted a status about how she was moving into a new place with the love of her life, along with a picture of a set of keys.
“I then realised she was my husband’s fling. I was fuming.”
The next day, Naomi confronted Darran over the phone and he admitted it – even telling his wife his girlfriend was ‘hot as hell’ in a text message.
Naomi says: “After 22 years together, I couldn’t believe he had cheated on me.”
Soon after, Naomi found bank statements on their joint account with payments to Victoria's Secret and posh restaurants.
The pair have since divorced, and Naomi is re-marrying her new partner in April this year.
She says: “Darran has never apologised for what he did. I’ll never forgive him.
“But I’m happier than ever with my new partner.”
Darran Rosic said: “I did yeah, right at the end. While she was pregnant with our daughter was absolute rubbish.
"I went through a relationship with that woman for 18 years she was an absolute nightmare.”
