I found a locked suitcase in my grandparents' loft that's been there for 20 years – when I got it open I freaked out | The Sun

A WOMAN who found a locked suitcase in her grandparents' loft has admitted she "completely freaked out" when she finally got it open.

Lauren had tried to get the case open when she was young, but ended up forgetting all about it when she couldn't.

But after spotting the case once again, she decided once and for all that she was going to get it open.

"This suitcase has been buried in my grandparents' attic for 20+ years," Lauren wrote over the top of her TikTok video.

"It belonged to my great grandmother so they didn't know what was in it."

Armed with tools, she set upon her task – eventually managing to prise open the lock with a claw hammer.
