A WOMAN has taken to social media to share her dental experience after she went abroad for a set of new teeth.
The young woman who posts on social media under the username @cea.cc, explained that she flew to Turkey for a set of veneers and took to TikTok to document the process.
She is just one of many who have jetted off to Turkey to get their teeth done, in a trend that has been dubbed "Turkey teeth".
The TikTok hashtag "#TurkeyTeeth" has reached more than 130 million views.
Several reality TV influencers and celebrities have also had veneers done, including former Love Island star Jack Fincham and Katie Price.
The procedure of having crowns done can be aggressive and invasive to teeth – as they require almost 70% of your teeth to be filed down.

The beauty fan posted her clip to the social media app with the caption ‘Did my teeth in turkey 😳’
She said: “Going to do my teeth in Turkey.”
Moments later, we saw the room waiting in the dentist chair, as she got ready for the procedure.
She noted: “Almost starting.”

Shortly after she shared an image of her teeth after they had been filed down, as she claimed: “I look like a piranha.”
She then shared a video showing off her new bright white smile, as she posted: “Done. I love it.”
Her video has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly gone viral and has racked up a whopping 2.6million views.
It has 185.9k likes, 2,350 comments and 5,685 shares.
However, much to the woman’s surprise, people were stunned at her decision to fly to Turkey to get her teeth done.
Many thought that her teeth even looked better before the procedure.
One person said: “Nooooo way. Your teeth were fine!!”
Another added: “You should have kept the real ones.”
A third commented: “You clearly didn't need it.”
Whilst someone else noted: “As a dentist technician it was unnecessary for you.”
Meanwhile, another user posted: “BEFORE WAS WAY WAYYYY BETTER.”
Following the nasty comments she received from trolls, the Dutch woman later explained: “For everyone who says "sin you had beautiful teeth" I know they look beautiful but I had composite veneers and it bothered me a lot…
“My food tasted like chemicals and the teeth were quite thick so food got in quickly etc.
“So that's why I changed them.”
