Just in time for fall, Italian fashion house Fendi is selling a $990 fur shawl.
But some social media users say the pink silk scarf with fox fur trimming looks like a vagina and quickly went viral online.
“Look at this fancy scarf,” one user wrote on Twitter. “It looks like vulva.”
Another user tweeted how the photo looks even more explicit when it’s flipped.
Meanwhile, others mocked Fendi for using real fur.
“I am both highly amused by this [Fendi] shawl which has a distinct vagina vibe, and appalled that it’s trimmed in real fox fur,” another user added.
The “Touch of fur shawl,” sold by online retailer Farfetch, is described as “delicately monogrammed” with the Fendi logo. While the main product photo features the shawl in a pink hue called “rosewood,” shoppers can also purchase the shawl in blue and blood red.
