Homegrown star Saoirse Ronan opted for an art deco-style beaded frock by Gucci, while Claire Foy’s mustard-hued Miu Miu gown came complete with a sparkling sun motif. Best Dressed List regular Lupita Nyong’o paired her stunning Calvin Klein fringe dress with a pair of €50 silver platforms from Aldo… stars, they’re just like us!
A white dress embroidered with pink sea creatures? Leave it to Irish TV sensation Caitriona Balfe to pull it off with aplomb! For the BAFTA Tea Party in Beverly Hills, the star of Outlander managed to nail a perfect mix of whimsical and fashionable in this Delpozo number.
One for the boys
‘Detox’ is always a buzz word in January, but not necessarily when it comes to your scalp. New York City-based Irish hair guru Helen Reavey has created the haircare line of the moment, that everyone – from top models to Vogue – is talking about. Along with her husband Colm Mackin, Reavey has created Act + Acre cold-pressed scalp-focused products for men and women. The trio of products, in their slick packaging, are sulfate-free and combine natural ingredients that purport to detox and sooth the scalp while delivering a great hair day.
