Maybe you missed it, but the Video Vanguard Award winner had a quick nail change from red carpet to performance—and she wore the drugstore brand, OPI, for both manis. J.Lo’s mani man, OPI Alpine Snow and covered in OPI Chrome Effects in Tin Man Can for the red carpet. Haddish’s hair stylist, Oscar James, tamed the flyaways from her braided ponytail using a Suave hairspray before the VMAs—which costs less than $5. “Tonight I used a little help from the Natural Hold Hairspray @suavebeauty to style my boo’s hair for the 2018 MTV VMA’s, live from #NYC!” he wrote in an Instagram post.

It was the night of surprisingly affordable manis because Munn also wore a drugstore nail polish to the awards show. Celebrity manicurist Traceylee  polished Munn’s nails with Zoya in the color Rue (a pinky-nude shade) to complement the pink carpet.
