On Wednesday the Big Little Lies star took to Instagram to share two photos of herself from the splashy event that also saw Kim Kardashian and Emily Blunt as guests.
But when a fan left a comment criticizing the look, Zoe did not let it slide.

‘I don’t understand why they go practically naked. She’s gorgeous. Why does she feel the need to wear a dress like this?’ the person asked in the comments of the High Fidelity actress’ post.
The YSL model coolly responded in three sentences.
‘Being uncomfortable with the human body is colonization/brainwashing. It’s just a body. We all got ’em,’ she wrote back.

Highlighting her svelte figure, Zoe’s gown was made from glittering YSL-emblem chains and little more.
Her look offered up an eyeful of skin, hugging her chest with a triangle top while showing off her shoulders with a dazzling halter neck.
Underneath the star wore a silver sequined thong, which let her pert derriere see the light of day.

Lisa Bonét’s daughter continued the look with Jessica McCormack jewelry, a little drawstring bag, and black platform heels.
Embracing modern elegance, she twisted her braids into a chic chignon while playing up her already stunning features with a touch of smoky shadow.
Also at the event was Kravitz’s rumored boyfriend Channing Tatum, who looked dapper in a classic tuxedo.
The two arrived separately but were seen leaving together, and later attended Alicia Keys’ afterparty.
