Zac Efron 'purchases $2million building block in Tweed Valley'

Hollywood actor Zac Efron ‘purchases $2million block in Tweed Valley’ amid rumours he is planning to permanently relocate to Australia

Rumours are swirling that Zac Efron is planning to permanently relocate to Australia after falling for Byron Bay waitress Vanessa Valladares.

And the Hollywood star, 33, has now purchased land in Tweed Valley – a town on the Tweed River in north-eastern New South Wales.

Sources say the Baywatch actor purchased the block for $2million and is planning to build a home.

The 128.7ha block of land has incredible views of mountains, cliffs, valleys, streams, and a rainforest.

It also features three clear-water creeks, rock waterfalls, water holes and two spring-fed dams.

Zac has been quietly living in the beachside town of Byron Bay since March, after escaping the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S.

He is believed to have met Vanessa in July when she was working as a waitress at the Byron Bay General Store café.

In August, Daily Mail Australia revealed that he’d cancelled his scheduled flight to LA.

‘He was only planning to fly home if he had to,’ a source revealed. ‘He didn’t really want to go back to America.’

Zac had purchased the plane ticket several months earlier in case his application for a visa extension was denied by the Department of Home Affairs.

But it seems his request to have his tourist visa extended from three months to 12 months was granted, hence why he cancelled his trip home.

In September, The Daily Telegraph reported that Zac had ‘inspected and put in an offer’ on a home in Byron Bay, but was outbid at the last minute by a rival buyer.

More recently, Zac was rumoured to be the mystery buyer of a record-breaking $22million mansion near Wategos Beach.
