‘David and I have come a long way’: Victoria Beckham muses over her marriage as she leads the stars reflecting on their 2019 in legion of sweet posts

As 2020 approaches, many stars have been feeling reflective over the past year and also the past decade. 

Leading the way was Victoria Beckham, who was reeling off both her personal and professional achievements in a gushing Instagram post, followed closely by Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Kate Garraway and Fearne Cotton.

Former Spice Girls Victoria, 45, revealed that she and her husband David, 44, had ‘come a long way’ throughout the year while other stars reflected on what they have achieved both personally and professionally.

Victoria detailed at length what she has done over the past year, while playing particular emphasis on her relationship with David, with whom she marked her 20th wedding anniversary 

Alongside the series of snaps, Victoria wrote: ‘What a year! I’m so grateful to the community that has supported me this past decade. In 2000, I dreamed big and in 2019 I dared to dream even bigger…

‘I launched @VictoriaBeckhamBeauty, with my co-founder and good friend @sarah.creal, as well as partnerships with @Reebok and @Sothebys. I’m so happy to be home again and showing on the #LFW schedule…

Yay! Fearne Cotton was celebrating the success of her Happy Place festivals, which centre around mental health 

Swimmer Rebecca Adlington was also looking back on the highs and lows of her year as she shared a grid of images from her year alongside an impassioned post. 

She penned: ‘Happy new year everyone! Instead of reflecting back on another up and down year, I’m more excited to look forward! I can’t wait to see what 2020 and the next decade has in store. Wishing everyone health & happiness… 2 things money can’t buy and you should never take for granted!”

Joining in the action, Coronation Street star Faye Brooks wrote: ‘2019… You taught me a lot. You made me more ‘Me’ than I ever thought possible… Endless unforgettable memories were made & I will cherish each & everyone of them. Now here’s to 2020 I’m ready for you!’
