They may not have given fans what they really, really want, but Victoria Beckham came close to enjoying a mini Spice Girls reunion with Melanie Chisholm on Friday evening.
The former bandmates – respectively referred to as Scary and Sporty Spice during their chart-topping heyday – were pictured leaving the same building after a night out in London.
Fashion designer Victoria, 47, and her retired footballer husband David, 46, enjoyed a date night at private members club Oswald’s in Mayfair, while Mel dined upstairs at la Loma with Jools Holland and friends.

Victoria appeared to be living up to her ‘Posh’ moniker as she dressed head to toe in a stylish black shirt, pencil trousers and matching floor-length coat.
The singer-turned-designer, who is rarely seen without heels, opted for black flats to finish her look and added her signature sunglasses.
Ex-Manchester United and England midfielder Beckham looked dapper, complimenting her in a black suit, pinstripe shirt and glasses as the couple left laden with bottles of wine.

Meanwhile Mel, 48, ditched her ‘Sporty Spice’ alter ego, posing outside the luxury venue in a grey pinstripe trouser suit which she teamed with heels and a white clutch.
Victoria previously distanced herself from the 2019 Spice Girls reunion which saw Mel, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and Geri Horner perform a string of dates across the UK to mark their 20th anniversary.
But they may soon enjoy a reunion with Victoria, after Mel revealed the group are ‘in the best place ever’.
