‘I’m leaving that toxic sh*t behind me’: Vicky Pattison embraces her ‘boobs, bum and cellulite’ ahead of holiday after years worrying about being ‘bikini body ready’

Vicky Pattinson took to Instagram on Tuesday to share an inspiring body positivity message with her followers after admitting she suffered a confidence wobble about her ‘bikini body’.

The Geordie Shore star, 33, revealed usually before her trips abroad she hits the gym hard, maintains a careful diet and sometimes even juice cleanses, but hasn’t had time this year because of her hectic work and social life.

‘Rather than being too hard on myself, buying loads of kaftans and dreading being in a two piece, I’m leaving all of that insecure and toxic s**t behind me and instead just embracing my shape!’ Vicky told her followers.

She explained to her fans: ‘There simply haven’t been enough hours in the day for me to get everything I need to get done recently… and I honestly couldn’t be looking forward to this holiday anymore if I tried!!!

‘Usually for weeks running up to getting away I smash the gym, watch what I eat, maybe even do a juice cleanse but things couldn’t have been more different this time around!

‘With all the birthdays, weddings, travelling and work commitments I have been so chocker I’ve been eating on the go and had zero time to train- I’m not going to lie, the sprained ligaments in my groin didn’t help either and it certainly put a stop to my Pilates passion.’

‘I have boobs, a bum, and cellulite on my legs’: Vicky looked sensational as she posed in her kitchen in the black lycra workout gear while holding a nourishing cup of green tea

She continued: ‘But rather than being too hard on myself, buying loads of kaftans and dreading being in a two piece, I’m leaving all of that insecure and toxic s**t behind me and instead just embracing my shape!

‘I’m 33, have boobs and a bum, cellulite on the backs of my legs, I have Xena Warrior princess thighs and a unhealthy obsession with cheese. And none of these things are going to stop me lashing on a bikini and having a lovely time on holiday with my friends.

‘So as I run round Essex worrying about PCR test results, getting my eyebrows waxed and if the sunglasses I ordered last minute will arrive or not I can promise you that the one thing I will NOT be worrying about is if I’m ‘bikini body ready’…

‘You are bikini body ready when you own a bikini and put it on your body. Whatever shape and whatever size you are! I had to remind myself that this week so just incase any of you queens needed reminding aswell, you’re beautiful…’

‘One thing I will NOT be worrying about is if I’m ‘bikini body ready’’: Vicky told her followers in the uplifting post that if they had a body and a bikini then they needed to hit the beach

The pre-holiday pep talk comes after Vicky got real with her followers with an ‘insta vs reality’ post last month.

In the first of snap, a bronzed Vicky sported a palm leaf textured blue and green bikini with her caramel locks flowing in curls as she modelled eye masks.

Getting real with her fans for the second shot, the former I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here campmate flashed a peace sign to the camera with a face pack fixed to her visage.

Taking things back to reality, she wrote: ‘Self Care insta versus reality. I’ve had a lovely but busy old weekend and it just occurred to me I hadn’t posted about my cute little staycation at the @boathouselondon with @skinrepublicuk last week!

‘Taking time for yourself is super important and everyone’s idea of self care is different- for some people it’s doing yoga in fancy workout gear and drinking green juice, for others it’s eating cake in cosy pjs and thats ok! We’re all different and it’s important you don’t compare yourself to others and instead just do what feels right for you.’
