Valerie Bertinelli, 63, SLAMS troll who accuses her of using Botox as star admits she used to get injections but stopped because it made her eyebrows look ‘weird’ as she adds she hates being shamed by other women

Food Network star Valerie Bertinelli slammed a hater on Sunday.

The actress took to TikTok to share that a woman whose handle is LisaWeiss711 made the comment that her Botox looked ‘great.’

Valerie cleared up that she does not use Botox and did not appreciate being ‘shamed’ on social media, especially by a woman.

Then Bertinelli got very candid about what she has had done.

The One Day At A Time star said that she used to get Botox but did not like the way it looked on her.

She had hoped that Botox would help with her ‘puffy eyes’ but it made her eyebrows look weird so she stopped doing Botox and let the results ‘fade away.’

She even showed a photo of what she looked like with Botox.

Next she admitted that she does use a filter on her posts, because she likes how it ‘smooths’ out the dark circles under her eyes.

Valerie was very candid about how she has not been sleeping well so her eyes have been puffy and the dark circles persist.

The Tv star noted she has tried to use melatonin and magnesium to sleep better, but the results are mixed.

Then Valerie discussed the shaming more, saying she knows that woman did not mean to be kind to her, adding she feels women could do better than attacking each other on social media.

Valerie is very candid on social media, often discussing her love life. 

She split from her second husband Tom Vitale in 2021 and they finalized their divorce in November.

Before that she was wed to a rock star.

She married Eddie Van Halen in 2001 and they divorced in 2007. He passed away from cancer in 2020.

In February she said she had moved on from her ‘narcissist’ ex-husband.

The 62-year-old actress tied the knot with financial planner Vitale in 2011 but filed for divorce from him last year because of ‘irreconcilable differences’ and has now admitted she has been able to find peace with the ‘painful’ split after her therapy journey.

Speaking in a video posted to Instagram, she said: ‘It’s so painful, but there’s a release that happens that’s really helpful. 

‘I believe that a lot of emotional pain is stored in the body, and I’m doing my best to heal from it in every way — my therapy, my journaling, my meditation, rolfing. I am over it! I’m over the narcissist. I’m long over the narcissist.

The Golden Globe winner went on to add that is has been able to have a ‘better life’ since the split and is grateful’ to have a life she can deservedly enjoy.

She said: ‘What made me tolerate the intolerable? So, by searching for that – by healing that – I have just put a better life forward for myself. I’m more joyful. I’m more happy.

‘A life that I already have that I’m grateful for, but a life that I can truly enjoy. Because then I finally feel like I deserve it. all deserve to have a beautiful life. And it starts here, within,’ she said while pointing to her heart. 

‘And I want you all to feel that for yourselves ’cause we all deserve it. So yes, I have moved on from the s****y part, and I’m going into the really hard, hard part that has the most benefits to it.’
