In a shocking post to his Instagram on Thursday, Derick said his “favorite study buddy” – aka Jill – attended one of his law classes at the University of Arkansas with him. As Radar readers know, the controversial Duggar in-law enrolled after getting fired from TLC.

“You’ve gotta find alone time (no kids) whenever you can! Thanks @jessaseewald for babysitting!” Dillard captioned the photo.

The confusing post left fans questioning if Jill joined Derick in class because he was cracking under pressure! One fan felt it was inappropriate.

“He should be focusing and paying attention and participating. It’s not a proper date,” the fan wrote.

Radar reached out to the University of Arkansas School of Law to find out if its normal routine for students to bring their spouses to class.

Radar spoke to a spokeswoman for the college, who explained that one of Derick’s professors encouraged students to bring in periodic guests.

The school official explained the point is for visitors to “experience a bit of law school and begin to understand the effort and the emotion that the students are putting into their studies.”

Derick’s enrollment into school came after he and Jill exited the family’s TLC show, Counting On. Ever since, Derick has repeatedly slammed the network, most recently claiming it airs “filth.”
