The Cleveland Cavaliers were among the eight teams who did not make the cut when the National Basketball Association (NBA) returned to action this past week after being shut down in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

With his team’s unforeseen early summer exit, Tristan Thompson was able to continue quarantining with ex-Khloe Kardashian and their daughter True.

And on Sunday the nine-year NBA veteran player was spotted picking up some pizza for his baby mama and little girl from a restaurant near her home in the Calabasas neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Thompson, 29, proudly represented his team in the form of a sleeveless, black Cavaliers t-shirt and matching shorts that had the ‘C’ logo on the right side.

In keeping with his casual but sporty ensemble, he also donned a black baseball cap and a pair of flip-flops.

And in adherence to the health and safety mandate in this post-coronavirus world, the Canadian native wore a white protective mask, even as he walked out of the establishment carrying three pizzas and two bags.

It wasn’t until he reached his vehicle that he decided he could safely remove the mask for his ride back home to Khloe and True.

The former couple, who split in February 2019 following his cheating scandal with Jordyn Woods, have reportedly really ‘reconnected’ while self-isolating together with their 2-year-old daughter, according to several publications including ET.

Even before they reconnected during their time in lockdown, Thompson and Kardashian made it a priority to build a positive co-parenting relationship for True.

The reality star recently sung the praises of her baby daddy, saying they ‘are in a really good space’ as loving parents.

‘It’s like, I have to be an adult. Why make it difficult for myself for the rest of my life? I have to deal with him. And he’s her dad and he’s a great dad to her,’ Kardashian added.

The NBA restarted its season with the top 22-teams in Orlando, Florida. Since the Cavaliers were having a dreadful season in last place in the Eastern Conference, they did not qualify to continue their 2019-20 season.

As a result, Thompson has been able to remain in Los Angeles with Khloe and True.
