Tom Parker and wife Kelsey plan to expand their brood: ‘We’ll definitely have more children’

Tom Parker and his wife Kelsey have opened up about their plans to add to their brood in the future.

In an exclusive festive shoot and interview with OK! following the news that Tom’s stage four brain tumour is now stable, the couple shared their hopes to extend their family.

Asked about the possibility of a baby brother or sister for their two children – Aurelia, two, and one-year-old Bodhi – Kelsey, 31 replied: “Tom keeps saying he’s broody!”

She added: “We don’t know, we can’t say when. We definitely will have more children.”

While The Wanted star Tom continued to say: “I’d like to have more but I’d like to get myself into a better health condition.”

The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, went on to explain that while they hope the New Year could see them becoming parents for the third time, they feel very lucky to have Aurelia and Bodhi already.

Kelsey explained: “Everything happens for a reason. We’re blessed we’ve got a boy and a girl. The age gap was short.”

Tom agreed, adding: “So if we didn’t have any more we’d be happy,” as Kelsey interjected: “But we will have more!”

Further opening up about how they see their 2022 playing out, Tom answered: “Hopefully cancer-free, more babies and more shows with The Wanted.”

The pair, who have been praised for their strength over the past year, also reflected on their last twelve months and how this Christmas would fortunately be very different.

Tom explained: “I can’t remember Christmas last year, I’ve just put it to the back of my mind. This year will be like a new Christmas.”

Sharing how they plan to spend it in comparison to last year when he had just been diagnosed, Tom continued: “We can’t wait. I’ll get involved helping Kelsey’s mum with the cooking.”

“It’s nice to be back involved and feeling part of the family unit again. With the chemotherapy and radiotherapy, you feel disjointed.”

“You can’t really get involved as you’re so exhausted. It’s all so thought consuming that you haven’t got time to get involved in Christmas. It’s going to be nice to be a part of it.”

Mum-of-two Kelsey also said that since welcoming their children, the festive season has a whole new meaning.

She explained: “We’ll try and make it as special as possible. Now we’ve got kids, it is completely different for us.”

Kelsey then laughed: “The years have gone where we’d go to our local pub on Christmas Eve!”
