Thomas and Talulah dine in style days after he took her to a chippie

EXCLUSIVE: Love Actually child star Thomas Brodie-Sangster, now 31, cosies up to Elon Musk’s ex-wife Talulah, 36, at chic London Mexican restaurant

When you’re dating the ex-wife of the world’s richest man, you probably ought to pull out all the stops at the poshest London restaurants.

But Queen’s Gambit star Thomas Brodie-Sangster, 31, likes to mix things up a bit, treating Talulah Riley to lunch at the celebrity London haunt KOL soon after having whisked her off – to a chippie on Cleethorpes Pier.

Last month, Brodie-Sangster and his 36-year-old girlfriend, who has been married to Tesla billionaire Elon Musk, 50, twice, splashed out on fish and chips at Papas, where a sit-down meal costs just £8.99.

Having had their fix of traditional fare, the couple went all swanky last week with a Mexican meal at KOL, a Marylebone restaurant with a £110 set menu

The actor, who has also starred in Love Actually, Game Of Thrones and The Maze Runner, began following the Lincolnshire fish-and-chip shop on social media after it was judged Britain’s best chippie, and posed for photographs with staff when he took Ms Riley there.

Having had their fix of traditional fare, the couple went all swanky last week with a Mexican meal at KOL, a Marylebone restaurant with a £110 set menu and a wine list featuring French and Italian vintages costing up to £500.

It clearly cast its spell, as they were seen giggling arm in arm as they left.

Ms Riley, who is best known for playing Mary Bennet in the 2005 film Pride & Prejudice and starring in St Trinian’s two years later, wore orange gloves, a green top and a long skirt decorated with white horses.

She wed £180 billion tycoon Musk in 2010. They divorced two years later, remarried in 2013 and split again in 2016.

But Ms Riley may have to get used to a less glamorous life. Papas boss Deano Papas said Brodie-Sangster had popped in while on a spree, adding: ‘He happened to be in the area to go caravan shopping’.
